Kureha Tech’s corporate philosophy is based on Junri-Sokuyu (“Adhering to Reason Leads to Prosperity”). This was the motto of Shibusawa Eiichi, who was the father of modern industry in Japan. Thus, we always consider that corporate activities are built on a foundation of “reason” in terms of the company and its employees. In other words, we believe that each employee can contribute to forming a prosperous society by valuing their relationships with customers and society while at the same time achieving the company’s goals. This is why the actions of Kureha Tech are founded on contributing towards our “4 Responsibilities”: customers, employees, shareholders, and society. Although it may seem obvious, it can be easy to forget this during day to day business operations. It is very important to always check if our daily actions match with the responsibilities noted above. “If confused, return to the foundations.” At Kureha Tech, we have made this the standard for the actions of our employees, so that we don’t lose sight of the “reason” noted above.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) adopted by the United Nations in 2015 is an initiative to uphold universal objectives all over the world to build a prosperous and vibrant future for tomorrow. Here at Kureha Tech as well, we have also made a small yet certain first step through various avenues such as Environment/Safety, Human Rights, Diversity, Productivity, and Growth.
